Old Glory Barn
This barn on Wildhorse Creek just east of Pendleton stands just as proud as the day she was built. Old Glory flies in the foreground. Talen in April 2003.

George W. Winn Barn
This picture was taken of the Winn Barn on Dry Creek a few miles north of Weston, Oregon. It was built in 1916 by George W. Winn and has stood the test of time. George hand sawed every board as the crew of 30 men took 30 days to build the barn. It was fastened with mortise tenon joints and square nails.

Steam at Bridal Veil
Early October brings the changing of the colors in the Columbia Gorge. The vine maples begin to drop their leaves as the streams push on toward the Columbia River. This is the stream below Bridal Veil Falls.

Stream at Bridal Veil II
Mountain springs feed the many streams crashing their way to the valley floor. Here we can almost hear the gushing water over the mossy rocks as it flows onward toward the Columbia River.

Ox-Eye Daisies
This picture was taken of a display of Ox-Eye daisies growing in a pile of driftwood left by high water at the mouth of the Wallowa River as it enters Wallowa Lake.
